Laptops have a short life of around 4-5 hours on average and if you just own a Laptop not some PC then working for a large amount of hours becomes very tiresome and frustrating. If it works fine it indicates that the AC adapter is the element to blame. But what if nothing happens because of a dead battery.

Ive tried turning it on but all I get is a orange light which I understand is the indication the battery is low. If you pull out your Dell laptop at your local coffee shop and press the power button you expect the screen to light up and to see a login screen.
